Renovate!

The home of the Pryor-Jackson Education Center has been newly renovated. Thanks to a generous 24% interest loan from Mayor Buckingham's Bank of Anachronism, the Center has been improved in many ways.
According to the Center's Chancellor, LaTricia McSchwartz, the guiding principle of the reconstruction was efficiency. "The building has far fewer rooms than before, resulting in significantly increased class sizes. Higher classroom density means we're getting more efficient use of each room.
"Here's another example. Our students used to spend a lot of time looking out the windows. Bricking up most of the windows forces the students to stop spending time looking out of the windows. More efficient use of students' time! And there are so many more examples."
Chancellor McSchwartz's compensation is tied to these and other efficiency measures, measures that are more easily measured than it is to measure learning. Thanks to our highly motivated Chancellor, we're sure to see further examples of getting more for less.
All Anachronismians should be proud of their semi-new Education Center and the swell job done by those who did the renovation, the Buckingham-McSchwartz Construction Company.
